Thoth is an Egyptian god known for his wisdom and magic. He is credited with inventing geometry, astronomy, and medicine. Thoth was credited with creating the art of writing, inventing astronomy, medicine, the calendar, and controlling space and time. Since he was the god of the moon, he had celestial functions and replaced the sun god, Ra, in the sky at night.
This blue candle is embedded with Howlite and bay laurel. The deep blue of this candle is associated with inspiration. The scent is a combination of eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, and orange. Howlite facilitates awareness and combines the power of reasoning with spirituality, which are the building blocks of magic. Bay laurel aids in seeking clairvoyance and wisdom.
God of wisdom and learning, grant me the tranquility of mind to cast off the bonds that cloud my sight and guide my way to the wisdom of self-learning.
Coconut/Apricot wax candle hand-poured into an 8-ounce glass container with a glass top. Each candle is a dedicated ritual with a suggested meditation. Handcrafted in Eugene, Oregon, candles have a cherry wooden wick, and are offered scented or unscented. Each candle is hand-mixed and hand-poured with love and care, incorporating principles of Wicca, aromatherapy, crystal energy, and color magic. As with all handcrafted products, slight variations in appearance may occur from the candle pictured.
Candle magic illuminates your intention and releases it out into the universe.
My candles are infused with herbs, crystals, and a meditation script to help you focus your energy. A simple spell to use with this candle is to start by creating a space that is quiet, comfortable, and safe. Visualize your intention and read the meditation as you light the candle. Stare at the flame and continue to send your intent into the light. You can sit in front of it for as long as you like. When ready, close your candle ritual with words of gratitude and a positive affirmation. Let your candle burn as much as needed, making sure you extinguish it before you leave.
Please remember that while powerful, candle magic and intention do not manifest immediate results. Whatever magical ceremony or ritual you decide to perform is simply the messenger whose purpose is to deliver your goals into the arms of the universe—nothing more. You still have to show the cosmos that you are willing to do the work needed to reach your goal.
Candle symbology
A candle embodies the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, and spirit. The wick is earth and keeps the flame constant. The wax, which transforms from a solid to a liquid and then to gas, emulates water’s transmutation properties. Oxygen, archetypal of air, is crucial for keeping the flame lit. The flame is a direct connection to fire, the element of transformation, and rebirth. The fifth element, spirit, is within us and manifests when our intention is placed into the candle and infuses it with our soul.

Amazing candle for Thoth! I love that the seller included an info card and a simple candle spell. The candle melted evenly and I feel that Thoth was happy with the candle I got him. I also love the wood wick rather than the traditional cotton. It burns better and it is less fragile.
