Thoth is an Egyptian god known for his wisdom and magic. He is credited with inventing geometry, astronomy, and medicine. Thoth was credited with creating the art of writing, inventing astronomy, medicine, the calendar, and controlling space and time. Since he was the god of the moon, he had celestial functions and replaced the sun god, Ra, in the sky at night.

Whatever magical ceremony or ritual you decide to perform is simply the messenger whose purpose is to deliver your goals into the arms of the universe—nothing more. Candle symbology

The flame is a direct connection to fire, the element of transformation, and rebirth.
